I was molested by two of my uncles and my mom’s boyfriend. And all I have to say is if it’s true, “my father, uncle, grandfather, brother, son” have pictures me naked my hatred and distrust for the male race is sealed FOREVER.

Thank God not all men are like this. This book gives men a bad name. The author comes across as a vacuous sex maniac and thinks that all men are the same. I have known men like this but for the majority I don’t think that they are. Maybe its an American thing and English men are more refined. I read the book out of interest and I’ll put it on my bookshelf, where it will stay. I tried to see if it was meant to be humorous but I don’t think that it is.

I could go on for days about how horrible this book was, but I won’t. My boyfriend got me this book for Christmas, and deeply regrets it. I wanted to rip up the book within a couple of pages in, but instead I kept reading to see how much more shallow this man could be. While I agree, that A LOT of men probably are like the ones described in this book, I would like to THANK GOD that not every man is. This book is filled with stereotypes and sexist theories. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS BOOK AT ALL!

After reading the great reviews for this book posted here, I was expecting something really great. But I have never been so let down for a book as I was with this one. The author offers nothing that I haven’t heard before in some popular magazines or somewhere on the internet. He tried too hard to be funny – I hate it when writers overuse parentheses as a means to make some glib or trite “funny” comment. As soon as I finished reading this incredibly thin book I threw it in the trash. I’ve never done that with a book before, but this one was just so terrible. Girls, you will not walk away with a better understanding of how men think by reading this book.
